Week 16 - January 20, 2008

Guidelines For Week 16: The final stretch! This is a huge accomplishment for anyone who has completed their 16 week. Give a pat on the back and be proud. Spring and summer are right around the corner!

Check out my pictures. It's been a wonderful journey so far and i've lost a ton of weight which only makes me more motivated. I have a lot more energy and look much better which my friends and family have noticed during Thanksgiving weekend. If you have a before photo and a week 8 photo, please email them to me. I've been speaking with a lot of you and have been hearing some awesome results so congrats and lets keep the momentum strong!

RESISTANCE TRAINING: Workouts should be done in 3 nonconsecutive days. Example like, Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The exercises are in supersets. Example is do a set of explosive pushups then a set of squats before rest then repeat 2 more times depending on your level. You may readjust the reps and timing according to your current fitness level.

CARDIO TRAINING: Cardio should be done on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. If time is an issue, you can preform your cardio workouts immediately after resistance training. Please alter it to fit your schedule.

EATING RECOMMENDATIONS: Eating right is also a critical factor. Visit my 16 Week Eating Guidelines for more information. Remember, smaller meals, 25 - 35 grams of dietary fiber daily, avoid refined sugars and refined grains, and make sure you consume high quality protein and healthy fats, and finally, stay hydrated.
